Courting Mae West

The play "COURTING MAE WEST: Sex, Censorship & Secrets" is based on true events during the 1920s when actress MAE WEST was arrested and jailed in New York City for trying to stage two gay plays on Broadway. Maybe she broke the law - - but the LAW couldn't break HER!

Hi Linda-
It's Sharon Weinman. It was nice seeing you and part of the show the other day. I purchased 2 tickets for Marlene and me for the Sunday July 20th show at 2pm. Hope to see you there and looking forward to the show. I love the blog. It is a wealth of fascinating information and will read it further when I have a bit more time.Would love to design a tour that includes Mae West haunts, stories and anicdotes. I should be able to attend the Mae West birthday celebration.
Great work
--Sharon
